Supervision
I offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. I trained in person centred, integrative arts and existential psychotherapy, completing my own clinical training in 2006. I now run a busy private practice in London and in Guildford, Surrey.
I offer in-person supervision (sitting or walking) or I’m happy to work online/by phone with you where ever you are based.
For me, supervision is about creating a trusting relationship which allows space to reflect on your clinical practice. Our work can be flexible – encompassing ‘normative’, ‘formative’ or ‘restorative’ elements (Procter 1982).
I can help you build your practice and meet professional standards.
I can encourage and share resources for learning and development
I can offer support and a place for your feelings and responses to your clinical work.
Supervision is an essential aspect of self care.
I have also have extensive experience of mentoring, academic and research supervision, working at Lancaster University Management School for the last 10 years. I completed a Masters in Management & Organisational Learning at Lancaster University in 1998.
