It is possible to come for an introductory session to explore what counselling is and whether it is for you. An initial session usually lasts up to to 90 minutes. Following on, I offer short term counselling (which might be 6-8 sessions), or longer term/ open ended therapy. It’s up to you and we can talk through the various options

Confidentiality – our relationship and the content of our discussions is confidential. I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and I abide by their code of practice and hold professional indemnity insurance. I undertake professional supervision of my work as a therapist, which involves discussing some client material in an anonymous form.
